MAPPS Forums: Government & University Competition
Forum Charge:

The Government & University Competition Forum monitors activities by Federal, state and local government agencies, as well as universities, wherein such entities perform activities that are commercial in nature and unfairly compete with the private sector.  The forum gathers information from members, helps develop policy solutions, educates and informs the MAPPS membership advises the MAPPS staff and Board on trends to be addressed by the association and takes such action on issues as directed by the MAPPS Board; recommends policies to be taken by the MAPPS Board; monitors market trends; works with the Legislative Affairs Committee on legislative issues and activities; and provides input to the Program Committee on sessions, speakers and topics to be addressed at MAPPS conferences, and otherwise share information within MAPPS in this area.
